Upcoming privacy policy change
On 23 December 2016 we’re planning on making an update to our privacy policy to allow us to build some cool new features in Trade Me Jobs.
This change is to further explain how we use some of the data you upload when applying for jobs.
When uploading your CV during a job application or adding it to CVs and documents we will soon start running scanning software over it and use that data to create a Trade Jobs member profile. Don’t worry – none of our staff will read your CVs. And we won’t share any of the information with any third parties without your explicit permission. The software will not scan any of your existing CVs, or any of the documents or cover letters you save. It will only scan the CVs you save after 23 December 2016. More...
Introducing the new Trade Me Jobs Android app
If you’re an Android user, we’ve got some great news! Today we launched our new Trade Me Jobs Android app.
Download our new app and you’ll be able to search, view, Watchlist and apply for any of the 18,000+ listings currently on Trade Me Jobs.
One of the best features of the app is the ability to discard listings that aren’t what you’re looking for. With a simple swipe, they won’t be returned in future searches. More...
Trade Me Jobs price change from today
As we announced in August, today we’ve made some changes to prices for casual listings, job packs and premium products on Trade Me Jobs.
Casual listings
• A casual job listing has increased from $154.78 + GST ($178 incl. GST) to $169 + GST ($194.35 incl. GST).
• Adding a Feature has increased from $86.09 + GST ($99 incl. GST) to $94 + GST ($108.10 incl. GST).
• Branding has increased from $30 + GST ($34.50 incl. GST) to $33.00 + GST ($37.95 incl. GST).
Job pack clients
The price to purchase most job packs and premium products has increased. However, there is no change to the price of a 100 job pack. More...
Upcoming price change for Trade Me Jobs
We’re changing the price of casual job listings, job packs and premium products from 3 October 2016.
Casual listings
The price to purchase a casual job listing will increase from $154.78 + GST ($178 incl. GST) to $169 + GST ($194.35 incl. GST).
Adding a Feature or Branding to your listing will also increase. Features will increase from $86.09 + GST ($99 incl. GST) to $94 + GST ($108.10 incl. GST), while Branding will increase from $30 + GST ($34.50 incl. GST) to $33.00 + GST ($37.95 incl. GST). More...

Today we launched Recommendation Network by Trade Me Jobs. This means we'll show job hunters other jobs that we think are relevant to them in stripes on the Trade Me homepage, Trade Me Jobs landing page, search results page, and job listing pages.
