New: Video on Trade Me Jobs listings
You can only communicate so much through words and pictures about what it’s really like to work at your business. So how do you give the best impression of your company to candidates?
A bunch of you asked for video capability, we agreed it was a good idea – and you can now add videos to your Trade Me Jobs listings!
New: Category Updates in Trade Me Jobs
We’re excited today to launch a new top-level category in Trade Me Jobs: Automotive. A top-level category is a major industry or category that then expands into further specialised areas (or sub-categories).
The sub-categories in Automotive are:
- Automotive technician
- Diesel mechanic
- Management
- Panel & paint
- Sales, operations & parts
- Other
We’re adding this category because lots of roles are being listed on Trade Me Jobs in the Automotive industry, and they outgrew their old home. More...
Upcoming Trade Me Jobs advertising rate changes
We’re making some changes to the cost of listing a job on Trade Me Jobs.
On 1 October 2014, the price to purchase a Basic listing will increase from $160 to $169 (incl. GST).
On 3 November 2014, the price to purchase a Job pack will also increase, as set out in the table below. More...
A tweak to our Privacy policy
We’ve made a small change to the Trade Me Jobs section of our Privacy policy to clarify the storage of information for CVs and documents in My Trade Me.
This makes it clear that when a member deletes one of these documents, any previously scanned information is only retained in our database for a maximum of 7 days.
Previously we’d been vague about this and said this information may be stored in our database for “a period of time.” More...
New: Trade Me Jobs iPhone app
We’re extremely happy to announce the arrival of our new iPhone app for job hunters.
You can use our new app to apply for jobs straight from your smartphone. With around half of all Trade Me site traffic now coming from mobile devices, we thought it was a great time to create something tailored to today’s job hunter.
