COVID-19 update: Trading at alert level 2

Following the Government’s recent announcement that we’re moving to alert level 2, from Thursday 14 May there’ll be some changes to our services.

The safety of our members is still our top priority. All members must follow the Government’s guidelines and our COVID-19 safe trading guidelines.

Help Kiwis in need

Today we’re re-launching our Kindness Store to team New Zealand up with the following awesome charities to help Kiwis in need:

• Women’s Refuge
• Age Concern
• City Mission (Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch)
• Salvation Army – The Foodbank Project
• Red Cross
• Variety – the Children’s Charity

We’ve filled the Trade Me Kindness Store with things these great charities need right now to offer support to their communities. All you need to do is purchase one (or more) of the items listed.  More...

Homemade face masks now banned

From today, homemade face masks are not able to be sold on Trade Me. This is after Medsafe raised concerns with us about their effectiveness.
